Individual Identity

Hello everyone,

Now, i  will be talking about Individual Identity.

The question that is provided for me is:
Think about how an individual's identity is shaped. Which factors have led to the formation of my own identity.

I think that what leads to shape our identity, and how people see us as, is the physical side of everyone, such as your emotions, moods, personal choices, likes and dislikes of everyone. It is also about how one dress, and how one present himself to others. Let me give you a few examples.

For example, if one has tattoos all over his body, people will think that you are a gangster, and is not well educated. People will also have an impression that you do not have a good family background, with parents not good enough to guide you towards the correct path. Also, people will also think that your friends are also gangsters and hooligans and are bad company.

That was a negative example. Now for a positive one. For example, if one wears a tuxedo, or a business suit, the first impression that people get is that this guy is a really rich, well educated person. People will also have an impression that you have a really good and stable job, and that you have a really good family background, with good siblings and parents to provide financial and mental support in order to excel in studies to get a good job.

From here, you can see that these physical side of everyone, not only reflects on their own identity, but also reflects on their family background, and those around you.

Therefore, please be careful and mindful of how you present yourself in the public, so that you will not only affect yourself negatively, but it will also affect the things and people related and close to you.

Also, i think those factors that have led to the formation of my own identity , is the way i dress, and the way i present myself in public.

For example, in public, i will be really mindful and weary or what i am doing. For example, in public when i am in my school uniform, i would be even more careful of my actions. I would also be extra careful with the things i talk about, and also the things i do. I would also try my best to promote my school positively, by ways like giving up my seat to the elderly. I will also make sure my school uniform is neat, with my shirt neatly tucked in, and with all my collar badges etc. neatly pinned.
