The Road Not Taken

Reflections on the poem "The Road not Taken" by Robert Frost.

I feel that this poem is extremely meaningful, as it teaches us to take responsible risks, to be daring and brave, to try out new alternatives, instead of only having "sheep thinking", following what others do blindly. Also, Robert Frost uses the two diverging roads as an analogy to show how taking responsible risks will lead to success, which can be inferred from the poem itself, "I took the road less travelled by, and that has made all the difference". One must not be conservative and stick to the usual "old ways", but instead should try to be unique and think out of the box, trying possible flip sides, even though they may contain elements of risk. As the saying goes, "Failure is the mother of success", one must not be afraid of failure, but on the other hand, should see failure as an opportunity to learn, to gain experience. Hence, they should, and must try alternatives.

That is all!

Thank you!
